The G&G G&G TR16 S-AEG softair rifle in 6 mm BB caliber with E.T.U. (Electronic Trigger Unit) and approx. 1,5 joules of energy belongs to the GC series and is the G&G Armament entry-level series. However, there are massive differences here to entry-level models from other manufacturers, because the G&G TR16 clearly belongs in the upper league and can easily compete with other renowned brands that also use an EFCS, ASCU or comparable trigger system. The weapon housing, also known as the body or lower receiver and upper receiver of this airsoft weapon, is made of fiber-reinforced high-performance polymer and is extremely stable. G&G processes extremely high-quality materials here with a very pleasant and realistic feel. Once in your hand, you won't want to put it down. The handguard with keymod made of aluminum is CNC milled and absolutely accurately connected to the body. Nothing wobbles, crunches or creaks. Here G&G has recognized the advantages of the Keymod system and improved compared to other manufacturers. Since G&G only processes high-quality aluminum can be dispensed with a thicker material thickness there. Due to the precise processing of the material, all common Keymod attachments that are available on the market fit on the handguard. On the aluminum handguard and the Body Picatinny rail according to MIL-STD-1913 or STANAG 2324 (NATO) on which all types of aiming aids whether scope or red dot sight can be mounted. From the factory, G&G has installed a horizontally and vertically adjustable rear sight and a height-adjustable front sight. The rear sight and front sight are also made of aluminum and are hinged as a "flip-up" design. The outer barrel is made of aluminum with the same accuracy as the handguard and has a 14 mm left-hand thread for mounting a dummy silencer or a tracer unit for urban combat. G&G also put a lot of thought into a realistic look and didn't miss the opportunity to install a gas release system mimicked on the outer barrel. The fire selector lever is located on the left side, right side and engages perfectly on the various Settings. The slightly curved trigger guard makes it easy to pull the trigger even when wearing gloves. The pistol grip is ergonomically designed. The sling swivel above the grip has a receiver for risers on the left side. The magazine release for ejecting an empty magazine can be operated from either side of the gun. To access the adjustable hop-up in the case ejection window, pull the Charging Handle to the rear. The T-shaped charging handle on this model has ambidextrous (ambi) detents that are synchronized. Whether you pull left, right or both sides, the Charging Handle is easy to operate. The TR16 comes with a ´lowcap magazine. The magazine holds approximately 40 BB's and is loaded by turning up the cocking wheel. The stock of the rifle has room for a 11.1 volt Lipo triple stick battery, these may also be used again with more than 25C before about 8 years ago this was still limited to max 15C. However, G&G has long since improved this. The battery is very easily stowed in the shaft. The rubber cover is unlocked and turned. At the bottom of the shaft is a compartment to hold e.g. two CR123 batteries. This compartment can be folded out via a locking knob. The shaft can be adjusted in 5 positions and can be locked in any position. At the upper end of the stock there is a hole on both sides for mounting Quick Release Sling Mounts. The built-in E.T.U (Electronic Trigger Unit) provides fast response and an extremely high rate of fire. In our extensive testing, it was not possible to jam the model (using an 11.1 volt triple-stick Lipo battery) no matter how fast the trigger was pulled in succession (however, a clean firing cycle is a prerequisite) to prevent triggering issues we recommend installing a Gate TITAN™. Due to the micro switch installed on the switch unit, which controls the E.T.U, there is also a clean "pressure point" and you can accurately estimate when the shot breaks. The installed gearbox from G&G is G2 G&G metal gearbox with 8mm ball bearings. The inner Barrel form G&G TR16  is about 400mm long. With an adjustable hop-up chamber, the range and accuracy of the assault rifle is exceptional in its class. Muzzle velocity is max 400FPS with 0.20g BB's, equivalent to 1,5 joules of Energy. We recommend using high quality G&G BB's starting at 0.25g. A battery is not included in the delivery. A charger is not included in the scope of delivery.
